Abstract

Considering the need to expand and diversify the Brazilian energy matrix, especially regarding road transport, this project proposes an analysis of scenarios using low carbon technologies, pollutants emissions, greenhouse gases and the impacts on population health in the main roadway of freight transportation in the State of São Paulo. It is expected to conduct an analysis of emissions from energy production using LEAP software and the operation phase will be carried out according to the bottom-up methodology proposed by the Ministry of Environment. In addition, the project provides a dispersion modeling of pollutants to assess possible violations of air quality standards in the regions analyzed and to assist in the analysis of impacts on the health of the population. With this, it will be possible to assess the impact of the proposed scenarios and how low carbon technologies can contribute to the achievement of the goals proposed by 2030 Agenda.
