Abstract

One of the essential steps for understanding the teacher training process is the initial contact of the students with the school, even during the graduation course. The monitoring of this student can be realized in several ways. In this research, we intend to use narrative writing, which if built in this first moment, will allow a reflection on this experience by the students, in addition to understanding the point of view of these teachers in formation, their expectations, insecurities and the process of learning to be a teacher. This project has as general objective to analyze the narratives elaborated by the students, graduates in Biological Sciences at a University in the Paulista Northwest and that will be elaborated through the interpretations that they are having in the school universe, searching in the analysis to identify their initial experiences in the school, considering the personal, social and emotional dimension as well as the perspective. The elaborated narratives will be analyzed according to the three-dimensional space that characterizes the narrative research according to Clandinin and Connelly (2011), focusing on social and personal interactions, on temporality, and on the place, seeking to categorize them according to the topics used by Santos-Junior, Formehe and Grams (2010) when describing the school environment as the physical, socioeconomic, and cultural environment. We expect that this research could contribute with the theoretical of the use of narratives in teacher training and that also presents benefits for the students involved.
