Abstract

Synthesis, characterization and application of new nanostructured electrocatalytic materials for electrogeneration of H2O2, involving from the synthesis of the materials by different routes (polymer precursors, hydrothermal synthesis or impregnation method) until its morphological-structural characterization, using techniques such as (SEM), X-ray Photoelectronic Spectroscopy (XPS), X-Ray Diffraction analysis (XRD), X-Ray Fluorescence (FRX) and others and electrochemistry (cyclic and linear scanning voltammetry on rotating ring - disk systems). To study the electrogeneration of H2O2 in electrochemical bench cell and in a flow reactor with gas diffusion electrodes modified or not with nanostructured electrocatalysts. To study the degradation of organic pollutants that are associated to the thematic project using PEOAS and TOC analysis, high performance liquid chromatography, gas chromatography and ion chromatography, in order to trace the degradation routes and the reduction of concentration of the organic pollutants.
