In a world context of search for more sustainable alternatives of urban living, it is necessary that practices of use of motorized collective transports and non-motorized means of transport be stimulated through not only incentive programs, but also through the propitiation of compatible urban structures in accessibility, especially with regard to sidewalks and crossings, objects of study of the proposed research. In order to diagnose and propose action projects that allow the identification and analysis of sidewalks and crossings that are not in conformity with quality parameters, which interfere with the walking activity of pedestrians, municipalities need possible means and easy application. One measure of analysis is the use of quality indicators. Thus, it is proposed to use a georeferenced Geographic Information System (GIS) which will allow partial data collection to be done remotely through program tools, reducing the amount of data needed to be collected in the field. However, according to the obligations and duties of municipalities, the Federal Constitution presupposes the dissemination of municipal geographic information, which must always be updated and accessible to the residents. Therefore, the proposed work has as general objective the proposition of a method for the creation of a Geoportal to evaluate a sidewalk system. In this context, the Geoportal is inserted as a tool that will help pedestrians with reduced mobility difficulties to understand the context of the updated city's sidewalk system, thus allowing a prior planning of mobility on foot through the sidewalks that best fit the issue of accessibility. In addition, the geoportal of a sidewalk system is also important with regard to collective public transport, since both mobility systems complement each other. In this work, a case study will be carried out on the implementation of a Geoportal from free software for the central region of the city of Bauru - SP.
