Abstract

In this project the effects of Cu, Ti and Sn on thermal, magnetic, electrochemical and mechanical properties of FeNiCuMnTiSn-based alloys will be evaluated using differential thermal analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray energy dispersion spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, microhardness measurements, X-ray diffractometry, magnetization measurements, stress-strain tests and electrochemical experiments. The study of the effects of Cu, Ti and Sn on these alloys will carry out to evaluate the change in the mentioned properties of these materials and the application feasibility in thermomagnetic motors. Simultaneously, the effects of valence electron concentration, atomic radius difference, enthalpy and entropy of mixture can also be evaluated, which can contribute for design of new high-entropy alloys.
