Abstract

An ancient problem that affects Brazil is soil erosion, which causes the loss of nutrients, sediments of water bodies and promotes the formation of erosive structures such as furrows, ravines and gullies. This situation is currently found in Mãe Preta neighborhood in Rio Claro - SP, where there is a growing gully, near the urban area of the city, offering risks to the residents. With the characterization of the susceptibilities of the terrain and its constraints, which is necessary to contribute with preventive measures to the acceleration of the erosion that can generate natural disasters, it is necessary to synthesize the information obtained in a Susceptibility Map that will contain all information weighted by weights through a GIS. Thus, this project has the main objective of analyzing the susceptibility of the geotechnical attributes by means of the evaluation of the evolution of the gully in Mae Preta neighborhood with the use of VANT's as a monitoring tool. Therefore, the project is divided into six stages: bibliographical survey; survey of the current digital terrain model; physiographic subdivision; characterization of alteration profiles and geotechnical analysis; historical analysis of the evolution of erosion; and integration of the results for the mapping of susceptibility to erosion. The results obtained will include the characterization of local geology and geomorphology; characterization of physical soil and sandstone indices of the Rio Claro Formation; gully growth rates; hypsometric maps, slope and slope forms at the 1: 10,000 scale, in addition to the erosion susceptibility map at the 1: 10,000 scale.
