Abstract

The aim of project involves synthesis of nanostructured perovskite thin films and the study of their physical properties. Perovskite policrystals have been used in the manufacture of photovoltaic solar cells due to the high observed energy conversion efficiency. The perovskite policrystals (CH3NH3PbX3, where X = I or Br) will be synthesized by the hydrothermal method by using an autoclave. Afterwards, the material is deposited on different types of substrates. After deposition, the structural, morphological and electrical transport properties of perovskite thin films will be studied. After this first step, we intend to fabricate the device and characterize its efficiency.
