Climate change has been affecting animal production due to high environmental temperatures and influencing the welfare of the layers, leading to caloric stress and even great mortalities, thus generating economic and sustainable losses. Animal science and meteorological databases may contain information that allows to model a thermal comfort range for hen, as well as incidence of mortality and loss of egg quality due to climatic extremes. It can also create decision trees through the use of data mining to prevent mortality and production losses of layers. In this way, the objective of this study will be to create thermal comfort ranges and through the use of data mining to develop decision trees, as a warning system, for the incidence of caloric stress in the productivity of the layers. A meteorological, bioclimatic and animal science database of three farm house located in the city of Bastos-SP, held in four different seasons, will be used in a consecutive year. The data mining technique will allow the construction of three understandable models to estimate the high mortality in laying and the quality of the eggs in different ranges of thermal and termoneutralidade stress during a typical year in the city of Bastos-SP. It is also intended to know, through the database, the distribution, duration and impacts, from the database, of the weathers in the production of layers. It is expected with this study to check which indexes limits for the onset of thermal comfort stress for light laying and to know the incidence of high temperatures in the city of Bastos-SP and how these are distributed during a typical year in the region
