In this post-doctoral research program, we propose to investigate several problems in the area of information quantification of the self-similar structures. More precisely, we plan to find the entropy rate for Tokunaga self-similar trees and for the geometric Tokunaga processes, explain the behavior of the entropy rates, and compare it with the behavior of the entropy rate of uniformly distributed planted binary plane trees with Horton exponent.
