Dictatorship and democracy in the contemporary Brazilian literature: a theoretical approach

Abstract

This proposal aims at requesting the funding grant from FAPESP, through the BEPE-DR program (Research Internship Abroad). It will propose an internship at Brown University, under the supervision of Professor Leila Lehnen, for the period of six months between January 15 and July 14, 2019. Brown University is an outstanding renowned University and it will provide a great opportunity to gain access to important libraries and crucial bibliography, as well as to encounter other researchers and renowned and distinguished professors. This project will briefly present the state of my research in Brazil, the need for further training and qualification abroad, the qualities of the University and the supervisor proposed, as well as the importance of internationalization and academic exchange for this research.
