The teaching-learning-training process is highly complex and may reflect the coaches' trajectory, as to the contents in his/her academic undergraduation (formal context), as well in his coaching or playing handball (informal context). The aim of this research project is to investigate the professional formation of handball coaches of the state of Sao Paulo. Coaches from the two major leagues in the state will be contacted and interviewed, which coaches different teams (u-12, u-14, u-16 e u-18). To access the speeches that reflect the coaches' formative aspects it will be used the qualitative research (semi-structured interview) to the identification of several aspects related to each formative context (formal, non-formal and informal). Tabulation and speeches analysis will be made through Collective Subject Discourse (CSD), which allow the expression of the group of people from the aggregation of continuous and discontinuous not losing the essence of the original discourse.
