Abstract This research project will be based on the analysis of the rational use of energy and the development of renewable energies as a response to address energy shortages, dialoguing with aspects of socio-environmental governance, ecosystem services and the vulnerability of the Macrometropolis of Sao Paulo to climate change and extreme weather events. Therefore, it is important to understand the possible institutional forms of energy governance at the municipal level and in the macro-metropolitan context, as well as the rational use of natural resources and the conservation of energy. | |
