Abstract

The themes related to entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem have been the subject of study with growing interest, as they are vectors relevant to local and global economic development. In turn, agribusiness has been the driving force behind the economies of countries such as Brazil and others in Latin America. This sector needs constant innovations in order to remain competitive and updated with the important needs of the century. In this context, university startups and spin-offs set up in innovation ecosystems, in addition to generating countless jobs, are also responsible for resolving old and current problems in the world. From these perspectives, the following project intends to study the process of formation and development of ecosystems of innovation and entrepreneurship in international thematic networks related to agribusiness. The methodology to be used will be based on quantitative (multivariate analysis) and qualitative research (case study and discourse analysis) with the coordinators of incubators and science/technology parks, entrepreneurs and stakeholders that orbit the Ibero-American Network of Business Incubators (Agroinncuba/CYTED) whose coordination takes place within the Scientific Park of the University of Valencia (PCUV) in Spain. The main objective of this project is to contribute to increasing the knowledge of the induction of the development of new startups and spin-offs through the diagnosis of this ecosystem and of good practices in entrepreneurial training that can be replicated in other similar international innovation ecosystems.
