Abstract

The project aims to perform a soil map of agricultural areas in São Paulo State, applying remote sensing techniques associated with relief and random forest kriging geostatistics. The map level will be evaluated according to final assertiveness, since the sampling density is not normalized to detailed levels when using digital methods. At first, one expects to reach the semi-detailed level. Databases of São Paulo State will be organized with known locations of soil classes (pre-existing maps), geo-referenced sites with soil analyzes and respective surface and subsurface reflectance spectra, geological and geomorphological maps, satellite images with exposed soil, images (elevation, shape, declivity, curvatures) and drainage network. Based on the known point information (with the name of the soil) with the respective characteristics, the pixels with similar information by a Random Forest Kriging system will be replicated throughout the state, making up a soil map by pedotransfer. The validation will be carried out in field incursions. Obtain a final soil map product whose level will be evaluated for the degree of assertiveness. Scientifically, we will obtain several products that can be compared when their effectiveness and limitations in the soil map development at the digital level in large areas.
