The current national moment of agriculture and soil science shows the importance of mapping the variability of soil attributes for stratified management. In that context, develop liming and fertilization protocols for these specific areas, become of extreme importance, once that these natural resources are scarce, therefore, should been used rationally. This project has for objective use magnetic susceptibility (MS) for mapping specific management areas and, thereafter, create liming and fertilization protocols based in MS data. The area that will be studied located in the city of São José da Barra- MG. There will be collected 180 samples in regular intervals, with density next to 1 point/hectare, in an area of approximately 184 hectares. All the points collected will be georeferenced. Samples will be taken in depth from 0,00-0,20 m, and the physical and chemical soil attributes will be determined, posteriorly, correlated with magnetic susceptibility data between mathematical models. The soy productive variability of the area also will be analyzed for purpose to correlating it with the soil attributes variability. The information will be submitted to descriptive statistics analyzes and geostatistics. Lastly, liming and fertilization protocols for the soy culture will be created between mathematical models based on MS.
