Abstract

Minimal Composite Higgs Models (MCHM), with fermions in the fundamental representation of SO(5) and in the 14 of SO(5), are taken as the starting hypothesis to study the possible impact of compositeness in the ttH and HH production processes at LHC, with particular interest in searching for the enhancement of the ttHH production cross-section wrt the SM expectation. The search for this enhancement predicted by MCHMis the goal of this phenomenological and experimental work. After developing the phenomenological scenario in the current phase of his PhD, the candidate will translate this theoretical work into the simulation framework of the CMS experiment. It will then be followed by an analysis of the ttHH production process with the 150 fb1 data collected over the full LHC Run 2 period. The challenge of this proposal is quite ambitious because it aims to develop both the phenomenological and experimental skills in a single PhD project. The BEPE fellowship motivation is to achieve this experimental phase of the PhD work.
