Abstract This research project aims at providing a broad survey of results in the field of sampled-data systems that are based on linear matrix inequalities and on semidefinite optimization. These analysis and design techniques are widely adopted in the control theory literature for being computationally viable and easily adaptable to consider additional design constraints or other requirements.
