This project of scientific initiation presents the proposal of a methodology for the development of SHMs for mechanical structures based on intelligent computing (IC) techniques, the negative selection algorithm to perform the analysis and monitoring of integrity structure in a building model placed on an inertial table, with two piezoelectric floors. From the acquisition and processing of the signals obtained through laboratory experiments, the negative selection algorithm (artificial immune systems) will be applied in the decision-making process to perform the identification and characterization of structural failures. In order to evaluate the proposed SHMs, laboratory experiments will be carried out to generate a database of signals captured in the building model placed on an inertial table, which in this case symbolizes a mechanical or aeronautical structure.
