Abstract The main goal of this research internship is to deepen my understanding about the materiality of religion in anthropology as discipline and method for the development of my Ph.D. project associated to the São Paulo State Research Foundation (FAPESP). As a result, I also intend to elaborate an analysis, product of my ethnography developed in Brazil and in Europe, on the light of the theoretical frame and ethnographic approach built during my stay at University Utrecht. The ongoing project "Buildings, Images and Objects" and the course "Materiality and Corporeality of Religion" will offer the exchange of theoretical approaches, the exchange of fieldwork experiences and a significant relationship between our research institutions over these themes. | |
