Abstract

The asymmetric catalysis is considered a challenge for the synthetic community with high relevance in organic chemistry. In recent years, associated with the use of chiral N,N ligands, the employment of arenediazonium salts has entered to the group of substrates which participates in enantioselective catalytic reactions through the Heck-Matsuda reaction. Despite its great advance, this transformation is still limited to the formation of asymmetric centers through intermolecular reactions. In this context, this project intends to develop new enantioselective methodologies using arenediazonium salts, aiming the formation of carbon and heteroatomic stereogenic centers by intramolecular process. In addition, the developed methodologies can also be applied in the stereoselective synthesis of functionalized synthetic building blocks.
