Abstract

In order to conduct a research at the Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza", this is a proposal to request the support of FAPESP through the BEPE-DR program (Research Internship Abroad). The Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza" is a globally distinguished center for education and research, and it can provide me the opportunity of meeting outstanding researchers and professors, as well as consulting important library collections in my field of investigation. Furthermore, considering that the main object of this research is collecting the newspaper articles written by Pier Paolo Pasolini and other intellectual-writers during the 1970s, my time in Rome will be largely dedicated to accessing data basis from Corriere della Sera, Il Mondo and Tempo, among other smaller newspapers. In addition to this, Rome is home to Italy's national archive and library, where it is possible to gather a substantial bibliography about Pasolini and other Italian writers of the period comprising this research.
