Radiation physics is intended content in school curricula. On the other hand, it is noteworthy that it has not been a priority item in the pedagogical practice of the majority of elementary school teachers. Based on the basic observation that the teaching of Radiation Physics constitutes a challenge for teachers, we aim to carry out a bibliographical review analyzing quantitative and qualitative aspects regarding the academic production on the Teaching of Ionizing Radiation Physics, taking as source of information the scientific periodicals Of the area of Education in Sciences / Teaching of Physics, the minutes of congresses and theses and dissertations defended in postgraduate programs. We will try to synthesize the advances obtained, the convergent ideas and we will try to signal perspectives, with the intention of contributing to an advance and defense of the future works that are dedicated to the teaching of this conceptual topic. We will try to answer the following problem: What is the panorama of the research on the Teaching of Physics of Ionizing Radiation? To do so, we will map Theses and Dissertations, articles published in scientific journals in the area of Science Education / Physics Teaching, and papers published in conference proceedings. After the mapping, we will proceed to the location stage and access to the full text of the productions. The identified productions will be recorded in tables in which we record the type of production, year of publication, name of author, title and supervisor and institution in which it was developed, etc. In continuity, we carefully read each of the productions. In the end, we will analyze the content of the productions and tabulate the data with the elaboration of records in tables and tables, built specifically for this study, in which we synthesize frequencies, objectives, problems, approaches, theoretical frameworks, methodologies, Existing gaps, results and conclusions, suggestions / contributions presented for changes and innovations of pedagogical practice, with the aim of answering our research questions.
