Abstract

This project develops and implements important theoretical and phenomenological aspects of the fluid/gravity correspondence, using generalized black branes, their fermionic sectors and ramifications. We shall limit the parameter that governs the geometric deformation of AdS--Schwarzschild black branes, to be implemented by the recently constructed AdS--MGD black brane, from the shear viscosity-to-entropy density ratio, deriving and using the analogue Kovtun--Son--Starinets saturation for the respective cases here studied. Dirac fluids shall therefore be studied from the Einstein--Maxwell--dilaton action with gauge field on an AdS_4 bulk, as well as its renormalizable generalizations involving Gauss--Bonnet and Chern--Pontryagin invariants. We shall formulate the violation of the thermal conductivity-to-electrical conductivity ratio in the graphene, which is much larger than that predicted for Fermi liquids. (AU)
