Abstract

Considering that guided pedagogical tours to historic sites already have their own way to approach ruined structures, it is raised a question about the pedagogical tours in contemporary ruins. Therefore, the objective of this research is to identify and analyze how the monitors deal with railway ruins in pedagogical tours to railway goods, more specifically in the city of Campinas, in order to know if the monitoring seeks to arouse some interest or to expose the importance of these ruins. It is also intended to evaluate if the industrial site is prepared to receive this type of monitoring and to execute a comparative analysis on the visited spaces. To accomplish these objectives, interviews will be conducted with the agencies already identified, visits to the sites covered by the agencies itineraries, and a mapping of pedagogical itineraries, protected and unprotected assets.
