Abstract

The emerging evolutions in recent years in the medical sector involve technologies capable of providing reliable and rapid answers to previously very complex and costly problems. Point-of-care technologies are leading these innovations to make patient care more individualized and enabling diagnoses to be obtained quickly, with high accuracy in any location and situation. The electrochemical sensors applications for this purpose proved to be promising since they are susceptible of limitless possibilities of design, structures and applications, seeing in the construction of biosensors by specific markers the possibility of a methodology with high selectivity. In this context, printing technologies such as screen printing and sputtering technology for the construction of disposable electrodes have been targeted and adapted so that low cost, inert and environmentally correct materials can be used as support, as well as the study of new inks with flexible properties and Conductive materials that provide infinite possibilities for electrical conduction and immobilization of biological molecules. The clinical sector is an important area for the introduction of disposable sensors, considering the growing demand for research related to biochemical markers and biomarkers as well as a constant search for more accessible devices, simplified use and that shapes the needs. Among the biosensors, the immunosensors are distinguished by the use of antigen-antibody complementarity as a detection principle, and it can be used as an important ally in the diagnosis and progression of diseases. Whether as an immunological marker or as a biochemical marker, the clinical sector is constantly seeking new possibilities to ensure rapid diagnosis and to provide clear and timely answers. Thus, the present project aims at the development of differentiated structures of electrochemical sensors and immunoassayers from the construction of electrodes through the techniques of screen-printing and sputtering, using carbon, gold and/or platinum paint, with and without flexible properties, For the application in the detection of biological markers of clinical importance.
