In this project we will study mathematical models, composed by ordinary differential equations, that describe the dynamics of tumor cells. To encourage such a study, we will introduce the basic concepts related to vector fields and systems of ordinary differential equations. Methods of obtaining phase portraits will be studied in order to make a qualitative analysis of the model to be studied. Classical theorems and bifurcations in continuous-time dynamic systems will also be studied and applied to the models. (AU)
