The transformation on earth maded by society all over the years result in alterations in climates elements and in the cities these transformation show up as more intense. The generalized waterproofing of the soil, the lack of adequate afforestation, the intense vehicular traffic, among other factors provoke the degradation of the environment that have repercussions on the quality of life of city dwellers. These changes in environment contribute to generation of the urban climate, they're causing the cities show up significant thermal and hygrometric differences in relation to nearby areas. Such changes are present not only in big cities, but also in small towns. In this case the research project has main objective to identify the possible differences of temperature and humidity of the air in Martinópolis town compared to nearby rural area. The research going to have a theoretical methodological contribution the urban climate system proposed by Monteiro (1976) with emphasis in thermodynamic subsystem. The research will be done by recording the temperature and relative humidity of the air in the urban and rural environment close, during 30 days in areas with different types of landscapes (urban and rural).
