Abstract

In our doctoral research, currently underway, we have as object of study The Intensive Course of Art in Education (CIAE) and its contributions to the formation of art-educators in Brazil, a qualitative research whose purpose is to map and To evaluate the conceptions of teaching and learning of Arts that founded the formation of art / educators in the said course realized in the School of Art of Brazil (EAB) in the city of Rio de Janeiro and three other Schools located in Recife, Porto Alegre and São Paulo, In the period between 1961-1981, according to geographic cut / time that we established for the research. As part of this, the research project presented here exposes our intention to extend this mapping to the Latin American context, with the objective of mapping, analyzing and giving visibility to Latin American epistemologies and experiences and their transits through the CIAE, In the formation of art-educators, in the period already mentioned. To do so, we elect the National University of Rosario (UNR) to receive us through Professor Dr. Federico Ignacio Buján, as an institution where we will carry out research, studies and participate in educational activities, offered at the institution, and of interest to the project. The preference for the city of Rosario is justified by different reasons: In the 1970s, teacher Beatriz Vettori created the Escolinha de Arte de Rosario and did editions of the Intensive Course of Art in Education, in partnership with public schools, which underlies our interest For mapping to know and analyze the documents referring to this School and, especially, the CIAE. At the Rosario Institute of Research in Educational Sciences we will study the documents, images, texts and books of the sisters Olga and Letícia Cossettini, as well as interviews with teachers and students of the CIAE in Rosario. This project foresees trips to the city of Buenos Aires, where a School of Art also worked and for the city of Montevideo, Uruguay, where Taller Barradas works, in which documents and works of Professor Jesualdo Sosa can be found, who developed experiences of education Through art, reference to Latin America, as well as documents on different experiences of education through the art of different times and Latin American countries. Therefore, in this project, we aim to map, understand and give visibility to Latin American epistemologies and experiences, their transits and contributions to the formation of art-educators in the Intensive Course of Art in Education.
