Mapping of risk areas the movement of hydrological and mass: a case study in the city of Bragança Paulista/SP

Abstract

This work aims to evaluate the areas vulnerable to risks of motion hydrological and mass in the city of Bragança Paulista (SP), targeting licies municipal public for sustainability and management of urban environmental heritage.If related to spatial representation techniques, especially in the cartography of synthesis,its objects become important indicators of sustainability in ordering because territorial spatialized by means the areas of strengths and vulnerabilities of a given territory, contributing directly to municipal public policy proposals that ake up the steps of environmental planning Plans. So, takingbased on the new federal environmental policies in particular law No. 12,608/2012 ,establishing how competence of municipalities to identify and incorporate the mappings of risks and vulnerabilities, promoting areas supervisory the urban environmental patrimony preservation. The work adopts as designthe theoretical research of systemic analysis method of landscape, where nature,man, society and culture are planned and understood of way integrated. In the end, the aim is to obtain a cartography of synthesis that seek the areas vulnerable to the risks of mass movement in the municipality of Bragança and hydrological São Paulo, with the prospect of contributing with some mitigating measures that contribute to municipal asset management policy and quality environmental.
