Abstract

In this Scientific Initiation project, we intend to analyse the philosophic discourse of/about Bento Prado de Almeida Ferraz Júnior, titular professor from UFSCar, retired compulsorily by the militaries, during the period of the Military Dictatorship, in 1969 and, considered by many researchers as the greatest essayist of the Brazilian philosophy. However, he hasn't been studied from a Brazilian discourse point of view. We will constitute a research file from his published books, prefaces from his works, other writer's commentaries about his works, interviews and published articles in philosophy journals. For this purpose, theoretical - methodologically, we will mobilize Dominique Maingueneau's contributions in the context of the discursive studies, specially his work published in 2015, about philosophical discourse. We will work more specifically with two discursive questions: the different enunciation scenes and images from himself, mobilized by Bento Prado Júnior in his work, mainly, after the englobing scene categories, generical scene, scenography and ethos and Bento Prado's biography, after the person, philosopher, inscriber and author images categories.
