Abstract

The present research has as objective the comparison of the philosophical theses from Friedrich Engels to those of Vladimir Lenin. Observing the controversial engelsian ontology - which sees dialectics in nature-, we remark the immense influence of his philosophical apprehensions in Marxism and contemporary Natural Sciences, in areas that vary between evolutionary genetics to the Bungean sistemism. Continuing, we allocate the debate inside Russian Marxism, exposing the insufficient systematization of influences in the leninian philosophy, being placed sometimes as a result of a prophetic geniality, sometimes as fully submitted to vulgar materialism. In order to solve this essentially dichotomic gap, we infer, based on preliminary data, that it was actually Engels the biggest influence in the philosophical conceptions of Lenin. To validate our hypothesis, a comparative study is proposed, one that takes into account not only the core of the philosophical production from both authors, but also the widely neglected Konspect- Vladimir Lenin's notes about the complete Marx/Engels correspondence. Utilizing material until know en masse uncharted, altogether with systematical material analysis, it will be possible, then, to map effectively the reaching scope of engelsianism in the philosophical interpretation of Lenin.
