Abstract

The present doctoral exchange internship project aims to analyse how the past ten years' productions of the Italian Childhood Pedagogy, that possesses as one of its characteristics the centrality in fostering conditions of time, spaces and material for the production of peer cultures, have established intersections between/with the race-ethnicity and gender relations. It is a research based on the precepts of Foucauldian genealogy, which will use as methodological instruments interviews, observations in day-care centers and documental analysis. This subproject is linked to the research: (Re)interpretations of the intersections between the racialization process and the gender relations in peer cultures amongst children between zero to three years old in day-care centers, which is inserted in the project Educational institution for children from zero to ten years old: interlocutions of research between Brazil and Italy. Specifically, in this subproject, it is proposed from the international scientific exchange with the Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca the broadening and deepening of the theoretical references regarding the production of peer cultures in day-care centers, in such a way as to collaborate into thinking politics and pedagogies targeted at childhood education and other processes of teacher formation.
