Abstract

Black women from Brazil suffer constant discrimination due to intersectionality among gender, race and other factors that add up to these conditions. If we take as a parameter teenagers who are in situation of pregnancy, it is assumed to be such configuration capable of intensify the vulnerabilities framework that expose these young people. However, with regard to scientific finds, notes to be this problem still incipient treated by studies that analyze so depth the relationship between these conditions and the possible resulting psychosocial and subjective. It is known that the early pregnancy situation is verified in different social groups; however, it is necessary to emphasize the existence of contexts that can minimize this occurrence as well as factors that contribute to making certain groups or individuals (more) vulnerable to these occurrences. Race is one of these factors that turn women and black teenagers into more vulnerable to circumstances such as pregnancy, obstetric violence, prenatal lack of assistance, abandonment of partners etc. Therefore, this project aims to identify the subjective repercussions brought by lone maternity in black teenagers. By focal groups, the research will gather questions based on reality and expectations of students, with focuses on racial issue, lone maternity and early pregnancy. It's expected that this project can contribute with these teenagers so they give meaning to their experiences and problematize their affective and loving relationships, and, from that, get information to contribute to the construction of appropriate strategies and policies to the realities of these young people.
