Abstract

The Health Ministry has proposed some functions of primary care in the health care networks, and, of these functions has to take care coordinator role, to act as the center of communication between the various points of attention also articulating the other structures of the health networks and intersectoral, public, community and social. Studies in the field of mental health have been conducted focusing on primary care and has revealed difficulties regarding the existing care practices for people in psychological distress. With regard to primary care and mental health in childhood and adolescence national studies are scarce and recent and point to the default of recognition and / or appreciation by professionals of primary care, difficulties in the organization of regional systems and intervention technical failure professionals. This study aims to understand, from the perspective of professional services on care practices in childhood and adolescence Mental Health in Primary, in relation to the care network and intersectoral. It is a study of qualitative-quantitative approach, which will have as managers or professional participants indicated the same for all health units of the cities representing the administrative regions of São Paulo. Data collection will take place preferably via the World Wide Web, is available free consent and informed, service identification forms and the respondent and questionnaire with open and closed questions that will address on the demand for attention in the field of childhood and adolescence mental health, care actions offered, present challenges in the care of this population, among others. The instruments will be available by e-mail or specific site of the research. The data will be analyzed using descriptive statistics and open questions of the questionnaire, they will be analyzed using content analysis. The results will be discussed in the light of existing policies and the theoretical framework of psychosocial care. The expectation is that the study contributes to the understanding of the care network and intersectoral in childhood and adolescence mental health developed by Primary Care, as well as provide elements to generate advances in the field and also in the construction of public policies in this follow-up.
