Abstract

In this projet we consider piecewise smooth dynamical systems, in particular system that are linear over each square (i,i+j)x (j,j+1) for i, j integers, but not differentiable (or even continuous) over the straight lines x=k or y=l, for k,l integers. Our aim is to provide conditions for structural stability of these systems, and also conditions under which the origin is globally asymptotic stable, based on past works due to Teixeira-Llibre and Sotomayor-Garcia.
