The beef cattle industry has been taking important part in Brazilian agribusiness, seeking alternatives to increase production and profitability. Feedlot is accelerating the termination of cattle reducing age at slaughter, providing intensive exploration of the properties. on the other hand, the cost of production is increased, and than reducing the profitability of the system. The use of less costly products in animal feed has become increasingly attractive. Among the alternatives, there is the DDGS (dried distiller's grains with solubles), co-product obtained from the production of ethanol from corn, which becomes an option in animal nutrition and production. The objective is to evaluate the replacement efficiency of cottonseed meal for DDGS on the intake and digestibility of nutrients in finishing beef cattle. The treatments are: T1 - conventional concentrate with corn as energy source and cottonseed meal as protein source; treatment; T2 - concentrate by replacing 50% of the protein source of T1 DDGS; T3: Concentrate to replace 100% of the protein source for the T1 DDGS. The experiment will be conducted in a completely randomized design with repeated measures, three treatments with three replicates (pens) containing four animals per pen. (AU)
