The Jardim Panorama on the problematic of the right to the city

Abstract

This project aims the comprehension of the new center-periphery relations on the metropolis of São Paulo, starting from the context lived by the locals of Jardim Panoramas favela, in the urban problematic of the fight for the right to the city. Therefore, it will be necessary to look at the relations of the locals with the fights for permanence and urban mobility, understand the relation of the locals with the Cidade Jardims complex and look carefully the center-periphery relation in the new centralities, considering the conflictual relation between the Jardim Panorama and the Cidade Jardim complex. The lifting of empiric data it will be done through interviews and frequent visits at the favelas region, at the same time of literature searches are required. (AU)
