Deleuze and Guattari's Political Philosophy: critique of reason and capitalism criticism

Abstract

This research will contextualize the critique of political econonomy held by Deleuze with Guattari, inserting it into the Deleuzian philosophical project in order to demonstrate the importance of the capitalism critique within the constitution of a renewed notion of Philosophy. Deleuze combines social criticism and a critical and creative reading of Philosophy's history to build a renewed sense of Philosophy. If Différence et repetition performs the critique of a rationality that obeys the requirements of the principle of sufficient reason, the critique of capitalism developed in Anti- Rdipe and Mille Plateaux aims to undertake the review of a rationality that is axiomatic rather than instrumental, that is, not a causal rationality, but an unfounded and immanent one, that operates without certainty or outdoor purposes. From the social and political criticism, Deleuze and Guattari elaborate a Political Philosophy, inside a concept of Philosophy, which will outline from the review of Qu'est-ce que la Philosophie? In this moment of Deleuze-Guattarian work, there is a distinction between Philosophy and science that allows the determination of the Philosophical field. Our hypothesis is that it is only through this critical path that Philosophy can, today, be up to the complexity of the events it proposes thinking. (AU)
