It is really significant the increase in the number of evangelical students in Brazilian schools and how these religious segments greatly influence the regulation of behavior and the bodies of the faithful, touting, including the relationship of children and adolescents with the class of Physical Education and with bodily practices.These questions, in turn, affect the relationship of these subjects with free time and leisure practices. There are many evangelical students who are suffering the restrictions of the church and family concerning to participation in games, dances, and many other content of physical education and leisure.We start, however, the assumption that a "good" Physical Education class is able to generate in the student to reflect on these issues and the desire to continue practicing such activity outside the school, which consequently can influence their practices leisure.The objective of this project is therefore to analyze how and if the affective experience with bodily practices during Physical Education classes are able to transform the relationship of evangelical students with these practices and the "body use" in free time, extraescolar.For this we will release ethnographic research in public schools in the city of Piracicaba - SP. I will select two schools and in each of them a professor of EF, as well as some students belonging to traditional evangelical churches.In addition to observation and recording in a diary, we will seek to talk daily with the subject. We will have also semi-structured interviews with the intention to understand what they think and feel about these issues and how to build their everyday relationships with bodily practices in this movement of tension between the knowledge passed on by the church and those produced in the physical education classes.
