Abstract

The main propose of this Project is study the thermosphere-ionosphere system at equatorial, low-latitude and beyond EIA crest regions during the descending phase of solar cycle 24 (2015, 2016, and 2017). In order to study this research topic will be used 4 ionosondes, the IBGE-GPS network, 3 all-sky imaging systems. The following topics will be study: a)The objective is study the Traveling ionospheric disturbances (TIDs) characteristics: Period, velocity and propagation direction; b)Occurrence of plasma bubbles during geomagnetic storm; c)EIA changes during geomagnetic storms; d)Ionospheric positive and negative storm phase during geomagnetic storms. In addition, possible changes in the thermosphere-ionosphere system due to the geomagnetic storms.
