The evaluation of sustainable processes for bioenergy production using sugarcane as feedstock in developing countries, particularly Colombia, Mozambique, South Africa and Guatemala, has been explored throughout the past 4 years by the researchers of the LACAf project. The LACAf project is currently in its last phase, therefore, the proposed work will be focused on contributing with data analysis/obtainment and required literature review for the completion of papers/reports (Technical, socioeconomic and environmental assessment of different sugarcane bioenergy production models), and assisting in the drafting of the LACAf's project final report.
