Abstract

We propose a methodology to investigate the knowledge base of technological paradigms. In this case, we apply the method to the bioenergy sector. Research is carried out by analyzing a large number of scientific articles published since the 1970s.From the topological grouping method, structured information in a network that indicates the levels of co-authorship between national and international authors, and divide the network collaboration subnets between areas of research. The analysis of the results of clusters with collaboration features among countries and cooperation in the areas of knowledge, found the development paradigm via international collaboration network. The highlight is the network of collaboration between technological classes of patents (IPC-International Patent Classification) that detected emerging research fronts. Ese project is part of a larger project funded by FAPESP.
