The research will have the following goals: a) Identify and analyze the design and the meanings of gender category (man and woman) by workers of social economy enterprises. b) Examine how the ways and the senses that workers give to the gender categorizations interferes and affects the daily work from the perspective of the volunteers of this research. The theoretical and methodological base will be those of the Clinic of Activity, a branch of Social Psychology and Psychology of Work, which has epistemological root the Historical-Cultural Psychology. This approach has been devoted to examine the dialogic and disputes in a collective of workers, around predetermined themes. The scholars of this theoretical perspective has been dedicated to developing methodological devices such as self-confrontation, which will be adopted for collecting data in this research. This instrument was created by Faita (1997) and improved by Vieira and Faita (2003) and Clot (2006, 2010) under the theoretical and methodological corpus of Clinic of Activity and will enable the identification and examination of the senses and conceptions of the volunteers of this research concerning to gender categorizations.
