Abstract

The research is focused on gender and its social deployments by the follow literatures: Simone Beauvoir's The Second Sex ([1949] 1967; 1970) and Pierre Bourdieu's Masculine Domination ([1998] 2003a). Is expected to problematize the convergence in argumentation and the divergence in the autors in view of the above issues. The proposal here presented in project refers in particular to the bodies education by the otherness and the domination structures that compels subjects decisions in relation with the choices that they made and determine their act. The working hypotheses are based on the idea that the experience of being does not come from a neutral environment or an open world to plurality, so the male / female dichotomy crafted by Beauvoir and Bourdieu. Thus, our efforts are directed to analyze critically the assumptions about masculine education and feminine education in the training process of subjects and their identities in the livings of a world that recognize how masculine universe (universe of the masculine) in the Eternal Feminine (BEAUVOIR, 1967;1970) myth perpetuation, showing an androcentrism (BOURDIEU, 2003a), which represents the full inequality between sexes.
