Abstract

This project aims to delineate an aesthetic-ethic-politic overview of the heteronormative patters divergences in sexualities and gender identities, in order to describe how this divergences escape from homo, les, bi and transphobias, and also to characterize how this phobias are produced. This project is the final part of this research that studied the cinematography produced in Latin and Anglophone America in part I and II. In this third and last part of the project we will concentrate our efforts in European movie production from 1990 to 2010. Methodology: Considering the European cinematographic production from 1990 to 2010 presented in the explosion of LGBT film festivals, specially MixBrasil, we will start an analysis of the aesthetic-ethic-politic discursive lines that sustains the expressions of the homosexualities, specially the male ones, as gender and power technologies. In this intent, we will use the analysis of content as a mechanism that will give support to the interpretation of the selected movies, which will be interpreted according to Cultural, Gender and Queer Studies. Expected results: It is expected to comprehend how, in this two decades, transgressions were produced in binary models of homo/heterosexuality, men/women and male/female, in order to establish relations between these new aesthetic expressions (queer), the production of LGBT identities and its dialogues with Psychology.
