In this project will be produced polymer membranes of Polyvinylidenefluoride (PVDF) by electrospinning. In order to the production of these membranes will be previously carried out a study about the parameters of the electrospinning process. In the membranes produced is deposited one layer of polyaniline (PAni), which is capable of adsorbing Cr (VI). Chromium (VI) is highly toxic to the health of living organisms, carcinogenic and mutagenic. After obtaining the membranes will be carried out tests as flux and permeability of water to evaluation the high dirty-loading capacity (retention) of these pre-filter. To verify the chromium adsorption is carried out adsorption experiments. As complementary techniques for this work will be carried out thermal analysis technique of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR mode ATR) and UV-VIS, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and impedance spectroscopy. Besides the scientific contribution in studying the process of electrospinning and the Cr(VI) adsorption process in PAni, this work will also have a technological contribution producing identifiers pre-filters and removers Cr (VI) ion that can easily be applied in various sectors of industry as leather, textile, electroplating among others.
