The new peasant generation in settlements at Pontal do Paranapanema: the peasant resistance strategies for socioterritorial reproduction

Abstract

We can study proposal by understanding the concepts of work, territory, generation, rural youth and socioterritorial reproduction as the peasants, called "clusters" state and "extended family" by researchers, are organized to ensure the family's stay in the lot, taking as a basic element reflections about the conflicts and negotiations within the family property with the owners (family), and verify which strategies these guys use to ensure the family's stay in territory and so continue the socioterritorial reproduction process of the peasantry. This research will continue in order to understand the permanence of these guys in the unit. The territorial cut chosen for the job will be two settlements located in the Pontal do Paranapanema region, namely: Nova Conquista and Porto Maria, the first located in the city of Rancharia / SP and the second in Rosana / SP. This region is known for the large number of settlements and also the conflicts that gave rise to these territories. The methodologies used are: desk research, interviews and social mapping. (AU)
