This research integrates the PhD research, founded by FAPESP (nº 2014/14702-0), "Evolução do relevo da bacia do Rio Sapucaí - MG: relações entre dinâmicas de longo e curto prazo no tempo geológico". It is proposing a three-month internship at Scottish Universities Environmental Research Centre (SUERC), East Kilbride - Scotland. The internship work such as training and processing samples of consmogenic isotopes 10Be, that allow to estimate denudation rates inside a period between 104 até 106 years; and a depth in conceptual issues in the method, in that concerns to mathematical models and interpretation of results. In the scientific aspect, the project is meant to expand their study area for Serra do Mar, drawing a line transect crossing the main geomorphological features of southeastern Brazil, providing the foundation for a regional analysis of the landscape evolution.
