Marginal design: urban furniture at the margins of the railroad of Presidente Prudente-SP

Abstract

This research of Scientific Initiation aims the development and posterior implementation of a piece of urban furniture to be designed in a way that absorbs the multifaceted realities present and relavant to the urban context of the stretch of the railway of Presidente Prudente, in the interior of São Paulo State. For this porpose, it will be used elements of design and ergonomics linked to the wishes of the expected users of such furniture, which were acquired though the preliminary analysis of the area in question by the same althor of this work, in other stand, in the Research project "Marginal Architecture: the chalange of radical experimentation in urban areas of cities of the interior of São Paulo (Presidente Prudente-SP)" through the FAPESP process number 2014/10902-4.
