Abstract

Dengue, one of the main problems of today's public health, is a viral disease that spreads quickly worldwide. National Guidelines for the Prevention and Dengue Epidemics Control, 2009 the Ministry of Health, state that the Community Health Agent must, among other things, act in coordination with the endemic control staff, whose duties forwarding the suspected dengue cases to the Primary Health Units; act together to households, informing residents about the disease, its symptoms and risks, the transmitter agent and prevention measures. This research will study the incorporation of dengue control activities to the functions of Community Health Agents. It is an Epidemiological Study Description from ACS of the 21 Family Health Units in Pindamonhangaba-SP. A questionnaire on Health Team Data family and ACS's performance will be applied to these professionals. It will be held descriptive analysis of the data by using the Excel program. (AU)
